• According to ISRO sources, this will be the eighth flight of the rocket with indigenous cryogenic engine. The EOS-3/GISAT-1 satellite GSLV rocket will reach its orbit within 19 minutes.
What is the specialty of EOS 3 satellite
This satellite will only keep an eye on the border of India. There are three cameras in this satellite.
• First Camera: Multi-spectral Visible and Near-Infrared,
• Second Camera : Hyper-spectrum Visible and Near Infrared
• Third camera: Hyper-spectral short wave-infrared.
The resolution of the first camera is 42 meters, the second is 318 meters and the third is 191 meters. This satellite will keep an eye from 36,000 km above. Earlier, India had launched a satellite weighing 600 to 800 kg.
